The XXXII International Summer School of the Nicolás Cabrera Institute (INC) was held between the 7th and the 11th September, 2026, at the “La Cristalera” residence of Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) in Miraflores de la Sierra, under the topic “Condensed Matter meets Quantum Technologies”. Topics related with novel platforms for quantum devices were discussed, including superconducting circuits, semiconductor spin qubits, hybrid junctions and quantum thermodynamic engines.
More than 60 researchers where involved in the development of the school, mostly including young PhD students and postdocs from different countries of Europe, South America and Asia, as well as well recognized international experts. Lively discussions during the lectures, contributed talks and poster sessions, combined with recreational activities and an excursion to Segovia helped to maintain a constructive and joyful environment during the whole week.
