Isabel Guillamón awarded with the “Miguel Catalán” 2020 Award
Isabel Guillamón Gómez received the “Miguel Catalán” 2020 Award for researchers below 40 of the Comunidad de Madrid for her “scientific contribution in condensed matter physics and for setting up a new laboratory with pioneering techniques”.
She is “Ramón y Cajal” researcher in the Department of Condensed Matter Physics and member of Instituto Nicolás Cabrera. She is PI of the ERC-StG project “Pnicteyes” where she has setup a unique millikelvin STM setup capable of reaching magnetic fields up to 22 T.
